She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Boyd Sr. and Minnie Lee Guess (Hamrick); her husband Jamie Glynn Barnes Sr. of Whitney; her children, Sheryl Lynn, Steve Standifer of Plano, Jamie Glynn Jr., Lynne Barnes of Arlington, Debra Kay and Richard Geddes of Edwards, CO.; her grandsons-in-law, Christopher Barnes of Austin, Caitlin Standifer of Boulder, CO, Jeffrey Barnes of Arlington and Kira McGuinness; her brother Ronald Hugh; and her sister-in-law Jan Guess of Garland. She was also cherished by thirteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Columbarium Fund of White Bluff Chapel., 1072 White Bluff Dr., Whitney, Texas 76692.
