It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Chavez of Whitney, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Sandy Cox; and his grandfather Stanley Jones. He is survived by: his parents, Luis Angel Chavez, Sr. (Angelica) and Phillis Markwardt (Alan); his fiancée Tamara Mendoza; his daughter Isabel Lu Chavez; and his siblings, Robert Jones (Keri), Rudy Chavez (Veronica), Scott Markwardt (Randi), Tiffany Kelley (Cody), Cielo Chavez and Linda Chavez.
