He was predeceased by : his parents, Norma Jean Stanton and Elbert Stanton. He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his daughters, Jennifer Stanton Ortiz (Johann) and Madelyn Stanton; and his siblings, Blake Stanton (Gayle), Troy Stanton (Juliette) and Valerie Weiss (Lee).

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Belle Hall Wade Funeral Home and Crematory (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel Wade Funeral Home and Crematory (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013).
