She was predeceased by: her parent J. G. Parris (Bertha); and her son Charles Miller (Michelle) of Whitney. She is survived by: her adoptive son Patrick Griffin (Dorice) of Grand Prairie; and her daughter Lori Fort of Fort Worth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as countless other friends.
