He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellis Ivie and Beatrice Ivie; his wife Sandra Williams of Whitney; and his daughters, Rhonda Strange of Waco, Donna Sims (Paul) of Whitney and Johnna Talley (Joel) of Bosqueville. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Johnnys name.
