He was predeceased by: his parent Ocie Jane Fulenwider (Hawkins); his grandparents, Oscar and Ellen Fulenwider; his father Joseph Fulenwider; his brother Jimmy Fulenwider; his mother-in-law Annie Stephens; his son Gary; and his nephew Darrell Trotter.

He is survived by: his close friend Mick Ann Fulenwider; his son Thomas; his grandchildren, Kristen Stover (Caleb), Taryn Vaughn (Zach), Hannah Barrett, Tanyon Fulenwider, Travis Fulenwider, Cierrah Fulenwider and Mickinzie Fulenwider; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Audrey, Elowen Stover, Lila Barrett and Willow Vaughn; and his sister Cathy Armes (Gary).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Green Acres Memorial Park (3201 N Main St, Cleburne, TX 76033).

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Whitney Church of Christ "School Clothes Drive".
