He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Joe Sr. and Lois Cheek. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Cheek; his children, Lisa Reneau (Jeff), Wayne Cheek and Renee Wohleb (Clement); his grandchildren, Philip Reneau, Ian Reneau, Zackery Reneau, McKennon Wohleb, Braxton Cheek and Lexi Wohleb; his siblings, Diana Boren (Sam) and Ronald Gantz (Jody); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Leggett (Bubba), Amy Marsh (Wayne), Donna Peyton (Steven), Josh Gantz (Kelly), Jason Gantz (Valerie) and Greg Seedorf.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ - Whitney (100 E Lincoln Ave, Whitney, TX 76692). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at 3838 TX-22, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Youth Department of the Whitney Church of Christ.
