He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Cobb and Ida Hyder (Heath); his wife Jeannine Cupp; and his great grandchild Charlotte Campbell. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Cobb (Sue) and Mike Cobb (Melissa); his grandchildren, Marcie Allen (Russell), Jamie Simmons (Clay), Samantha Cobb, Blake Cobb and Katharine Campbell (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Ty Allen, Cooper Simmons, Emma Simmons, Eliza Campbell, Landon Campbell, Ethan Cobb and Aiden Cobb.
