It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Wade Rich of Whitney, Texas, born in Trinidad, Texas, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rigsbee Terry and Bera Octavia Wade; her sisters, Bobbie Mason and Delores "Pustus" Yates; her children, Sharon Cooper, Joy Crownover and Buddie Robert Rich; and her son-in-law Allen Laurence.
She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Laurence and Donna Driver (Billy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Laurence, Wade Laurence, Nikki Driver, Lori Contreras, Jackson Cooper and Casondra Tidwell; her friend Ruth Smalling Dickson (Shorty Davis Burton); her daughter Patricia Prophitt; her caregiver Barbara Raulston; and her pet Lena. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
