He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Frances Louise Baldwin Segler; his siblings, Willie Merle DeNoto, Tammy Smith and Gregory Smith; and his son-in-law Hubert Thedford.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Sue Segler; his children, Mary Thedford, Eddie Gail Segler, Jr. (Traci), Sylvia Landers, Shannon Lucas (David), Gwen Liska (Darren), Jennifer Jones, Angela Williams (Stacy) and Jamie Segler (Wes Camp); and his sisters, Anita Louise Averett and Tina Shipp. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
