He was predeceased by: his parents, Artis Curlee and Louise Curlee (Sue); his sister Wrenna Faye Phleps; and his brother-in-law Eddie Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his daughters, Cheryl Lawrence of Dallas, Celeste Curlee (Adam Block) of Plano and Lisa Spillman (Joe) of Irving; his son-in-law Bill Lawrence of Dallas; his stepson Rick Pinyan of Ft. Worth; his grandsons, Ridge, Piercen and Hunter Lawrence of Dallas; his stepgrandchildren, Ricky, Rachel, Ryan, Sarah, Lacy and Jesse; and his sister Kathleen Clancy (David) of Mexia.
Dan was also known for his charity auctions for those in need.
