He was predeceased by: his sisters, Jill Thompson and Margaret Dooley. He is survived by: his parents, Charlie Thompson and Rosie Thompson (Murphy); his wife Susan Thompson; his children, A. J. Matheson, Coe Bellamy (Bryan) and Sheila Stamey; his grandsons, Bryson, Charlie, Cohen and David; and his sisters, Janet Freeman and Tyra Parillo (Tony).
