He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ward and Lena Ward; and his siblings, Check, Thomas, Rellis, Billy Joe, Velma Gunter, Zolena Overton and Ruth Iley.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Barnett; his daughter Jeannie Hollingshead (Jerry) of Peoria; his grandchild Kyle (Annie); his great grandchild Quin of Dripping Springs; his brothers, Joe Ward (Pat) of Hillsboro and Jerry Ward (Janet) of Arlington; and his sisters-in-law, June Ward, Betty Ward and Billie Barnett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
