He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Estes and Myrtle Estes; his wife Carol Sue Estes; and his brother Jimmy Estes. He is survived by: his daughter Susanne Stracener (David) of Whitney; his sisters, Margarete Hoye (Ron) of Kingwood and Stella Crowsey (Jerry) of Forrestburg; and his grandchildren, Dakota Bell, Gracie Jackson Bowers, James Bowers, Cheyanne Stracener and David Stracener III.
