He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Boyd and Edna Stone (York); his wife Helen Benton; and his brother-in-law Clayton Howard. He is survived by: his son Alton Stone Jr. (Tonya); his grandchildren, Chad, Amanda and Crystal; and his siblings, Cora Black (Johnny), Louie Lee Fulton (Wylie), Edna Bosley (Michael), Frances Howard, Mary Lou Nichols (David) and James M. Stone (Eleonore). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
