He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Plez Haston and Addie Thorpe Haston; his wife Dean Haston; and his siblings, Cecil, Lloyd, Doyle Haston, Addie Mae, Nellie Mae Haston and Nettie Haston Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Donna K. Uphold (Don) of Yuma, Tennessee, Claude Haston, Jr. (Jamiah) of Oceanside, California, Pamela J. Ulmer of Whitewright, Donald J. Haston (Teresa) of Tom Bean and Michael Haston (Laura) of McKinney.
