He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Bausell and Letha Bell Bausell-McBurnett (Richardson); his stepfather David Lester McBurnett; and his brothers, Lonnie J. Bausell, Kenneth Bausell and Elmer McBurnett.
He is survived by: his brother David Lewis McBurnett. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
