It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darla Kay Degler of Whitesboro, Texas, born in Denton, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Johnson (Roberts); and her niece Mary Jo. She is survived by: her father Reverend Elvin Johnson; her son Ethan (Erica) of Dallas Texas; and her siblings, Jerry Johnson (Tookie), Shirley Butler (Dewey) of Grapevine and Deborah Johnson of Flower Mound. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
