He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Bob Jr.; his grandson Joe Blaine; his parents, Gordon Slaughter and Lena Slaughter; his wife Mary Ann Kaylor Slaughter; his children, Blaine Slaughter of Chapel Hill, Wendy Schaefer (Mark) of Brazoria, Shelia Cranfill (Donald) of Lake Jackson and Melissa Skains (James) of Waco; and his grandchildren, David McCollister of Dennis Cranfill, J. D, Daniel Cranfill, Johse Slaughter, Whitney Slaughter Johnston and Zack Slaughter. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
