She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Obar and Margaret Obar of Troup. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharron Carter, Brenda Glover (Mike) and Charlotte Petree; her grandchildren, Brandon Hightower (Jennifer), Adam Glover (Rheagan), Aaron Glover (Emily), Cecily Petree Wilson (Josh) and Coltan Petree (Amanda); her great great grandchildren, Logan, Tayla, Joshua, Chloe (Russell IV), Laney, Russell V, Oliver, Rheece, Merritt, Mia, Carter, Luna, Gracie, Austin, Cason and Dyllan; and her siblings, Barbara McGraw, Claude Obar (C. K.), Delight Dowdy, Rita Jackson and Russell Obar (Aris). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (18710 Estates Dr, Tyler, TX 75703).
