She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Kirby and Bennie Kirby; her husband J. W. Fitzgerald; her sons, Kenneth Fitzgerald and Jay Scott Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Naomi Kirby, Bobbie Smith Kirby and Ray Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Kirby Fitzgerald (Linda) of Kilgore, Jerry Wayne Fitzgerald (Teresa) of Boerne and Melissa Fitzgerald Briscoe (Zack) of Whitehouse; and her grandchildren, Matthew Fitzgerald, Sadie Fitzgerald Catron (Dave), Robert Fitzgerald, Kenneth Fitzgerald, Drake Briscoe, Madeline Briscoe Hamberg (Mason) and Winnie Kate Briscoe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, church family, friends and other loving family members.
Memorials may be made in her name to the SPCA of East Texas and Hospice of East Texas.
