He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Alton Stokes and Lora Emma Stokes (Hail); and his children, Gary Stokes and Teresa Lynn Crow (Stokes). He is survived by: his brother Johnnie Stokes (Danese) of Chandler; and his daughter-in-law Tina Stokes of Edom. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
