It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Earl Batey Sr. of Whitehouse, Texas, born in Tyler, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Earl and Susie Ann Batey (McGrady); and his brother Kenneth Ray Batey. He is survived by: his wife Kathy "Kat" Batey (Hart) of Flint, Texas; his children, Reesha Powell (Brandon) of Ore City, Texas and Donald "DJ" Earl Batey Jr. of Tyler; and his sister Pam Ruehrmund (Mark) of Whitehouse. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
