He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harrison Newsom and Pearl Beatrice Kennedy; and his wife Nona Dell Newsom. He is survived by: his children, Robert Newsom, Richard Newsom (Pam), Randy Newsom (Laura) and Renita Griffin (Mark); and his grandchildren, Bradley Newsom (Ashley), Lauren Carrel, Josh Jordan (Lesile), Jacob Jordan (Julie), Clayton Griffin (Kayla), Callie Binford (Jared), Cole Newsom (Rachel) and Alexis Newsom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
