He was predeceased by: his wife Jerine Lawrence; his parents, Richard Graves and Alma Graves; and his siblings, Velora Gray and Verlon Graves.
He is survived by: his grandson Timilee Anderson; his great grandchildren, Ben, Maddy, Seth, Abby, Lawson and Caleb; his brother Jerry Graves (Alvina); and his sister-in-law Frances Cathy.
