He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Cole and Pearlie Cole; his siblings, Lucy Rhoads, Clarence, Claude, Glen, Virgil, Ray and James; and his grandson Joshua Cole Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Magee Cole; his brother-in-law Steve Rhoads; his sister Martha Gary; his granddaughter Haley Zillman (Justin); his great grandchild Emma Grace; his niece Suzan Rhoads; and also Kelly Thomas (Mark). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at his church of which he was a founding member, Breakthru Church in Longview, Texas.
