He is survived by: his wife Deanna Thompson Posey of White Oak; his children, Alan Collins (Katie) of Texas City, Lonnie Collins (Karen) of Baytown, Ken "Kipper" Posey (Shanay) of Arlington and Joyce Posey Sandoval of White Oak; his sister Wanda Posey Garrett of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Jordon, Sara, Reece and Gabe.
