He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessiebee Hampton McIlveene and Stella Mae Rogers McIlveene; and his siblings, Bette Anderson, Eugene McIlveene and Richard McIlveene.

He is survived by: his wife Dell Marie McIlveene (Tina); his children, Wesley Shawn Crofford, Timothy Elijah Crofford and Shannon Dawn Crofford-Hays; his grandchildren, Katelynn Nicole Crofford and Levi Joshua Hays; and his nephews, Eddie, Jamie, Adam Maldonado, Alex, Carl McNatt and Dyanna McNatt Jones.
