She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kocurek and Valesta Kocurek; her husband Bob; her stepparents, Iola Kocurek and Lawrence Eloff; and her brothers, James Kocurek and Gary Eloff.

She is survived by: her son Robert Proctor; her caregiver Linda Thomas; her grandson Robert Proctor II; and her daughter-in-law Sylvia Proctor. She is also survived by cousins, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Dorothy's name to the White Oak Education Foundation.
