He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Richard and Julia Irene Malone Garner; and his brothers, R. J. Garner, H. W. Garner and Troy Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Lohrey; his children, Sherri Lacy of White Oak, Jeff and Nina Garner of Hallsville; his grandchildren, Ryan Lacy of Longview, Hailey Garner and Hope Garner of Hallsville; his great grandchildren, Olivia Lacy, Heidi Lacy and Drew Lacy of Longview; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Garner of Paris, Deloris Garner of Sumner Tx and Rick Lohrey of Sumner Tx; and his close friend Rusty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
