She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Godwin and Fleda Godwin; her husband Jerry Simpson; her grandson Trevor Burrell; and her son-in-law Joe Grange.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Short (Roger) of Canyon, Tim Simpson (Ronda) of Thomas Oklahoma and Teri Grange of White Deer, Texas; her grandchildren, Shirece Bruce (Leslie), Myles Simpson, Quentin Simpson (Darcey), Brandi Lohberger (Justin), Penny Armstrong (Joseph) and Kelsey Welch (Cassidy); and her brother Jay Godwin (Tria). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmichael - Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmichael Whatley Colonial Chapel (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065).
