With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June (Ruthardt) Lowrance of White Deer, Texas, born in Childress, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June (Ruthardt) Lowrance to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Winborne and Wanda Winborne; her husbands, Ed Lowrance and Gordon Ruthardt; her children, Rahna Abernathy and Richard Lowrance; her granddaughter Kimberly Ann Barbee; and her great grandchild Cameron Shea Barbee.
She is survived by: her former husband Chester Tackett; her children, Sandra Byran (Gene) of Amarillo, Rick Tackett (Sherry) of White Deer, Patti Duezabou (John) of Fort Worth and Scott Lowrance (Donna) of Pampa; her grandchildren, Tina Newman (Lewis), Robin Payne (Roy), Amanda Taylor, Shelley Kirkwood, Laura Watson (Clint), Brock Lowrance, Amy Govea (Nick), Daniel Abernathy (Emily), Tommy Abernathy and Andrew Lowrance; and her brother Chuck Winborne (Dianne) of Wapakoneta, Ohio. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
June worked for the Marie Foundation in Pampa, starting in the 1960s and worked there until they closed in the 1970s.
