She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Ritter and Montie Ritter (Dunn); her daughter Cindy Cooper; her son-in-law Benny Cooper; and her siblings, Norma Baxter, Lillie Carney, Ina Brown and Lilburn Ritter.
She is survived by: her husband James Britten (Smiley); her children, Lynda Paul of White Deer, Nicky Britten (Karen) of Houston, Nelson Britten (Teresa) of White Deer and Max Britten (Sue) of Olathe, Kansas; and her siblings-in-law, George Britten (Janie) and Doris Britten of Amarillo. She is also survived by Nanny to her 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
