He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Davis and Virginia Ireland Davis; his wife Wanda Davis; his granddaughter Shelby Andrew; and his brothers, Jack Davis, Henry "Red" Davis and Paul Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Welling of Wharton and Darla Wendt of League City; and his grandchildren, Derek Baker (Jennifer), Zachary Andrew, Kristi Ebbecke, Laci Moran, Brittany Danko and Jordan McCarty (Bandy). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
