He was predeceased by: his brother Joe Palmer Duke; his nieces, Shana Lynn Duke and Brittany Koym; and his nephew John B Duke, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Koym (Elton) of Canton, TX, Katy Cathey (Bobby) of Spring, Edwin Duke, Jr. (Evonne) of Seguin, John B Duke, Sr. (Wanda Faye) of Goliad, Robert L. Duke, Sr. (Shirley) of Lane City, Lowell Duke (Boogie) of Canton, David L. Duke (Delores) of Conroe and Henry Duke (Frankie). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces.
