It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor A. Brenk of Wharton, Texas, born in Taiton, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brenk and Mary Duyka Brenk; his siblings, Frances Baca, Agnes Socha, Marie Boyd, Josephine Pavlovsky, Cecilia Kucera, Rose Cervenka, Frank Brenk, Anthony Brenk, Fred Brenk, Theodore Brenk and Benjamin Brenk; his grandson Brian Smith; and his great grandchild James.
He is survived by: his wife Vlasta Brenk; his daughters, Denise Crayton (Tom) of Richmond, TX, Vicki Smith (Barry) of Colorado Springs, CO and Abby Hammermiller (Carl) of Eagle Lake, TX; his grandchildren, Sherrie Storey (Andrew), Justin Crayton (Renee), Amanda Schafer (Manuel), Heidi Lopez (Javier) and Kali Witten (Clint); and his great grandchildren, Isis Gomez, Cody, Emma Smith, Nolan Schafer, Benjamin, Violet, Dean Lopez and Winry Witten. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
