He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Munoz and Mary Munoz (Sanchez); and his sister Jerri Gonzales. He is survived by: his sister Rose Guthrie (Don) of Wharton; his stepfather Juan Munoz of Wharton; and his nephew Matt Gonzales.
