He is survived by: his wife Mary Hawkins (Chancellor); his siblings, Rowena Smith of Independence, Missouri., Ruth Mavoy Hirst of Independence, Missouri., Lloyd Hawkins of Independence, Missouri. and Floyd Hawkins of Independence, Missouri.; his daughter May Florence Hawkins; his grandson Perry Jordan; his stepchildren, Monte Scott, Marilyn Ball (Jimmy), Anita Franklin (Gary) and Sheryl Vick-Spease (Chris); his grandchildren, Nathan Kilgore (Shelby), Nancy Kilgore, Heather Bucklew (Joel), Aaron Spease (Haley) and Beth Mead (Zachary); and his great grandchildren, Jazmyn, Peytan, Penelope, Zoe, Paige, Cora, Billy, Harper, Nellie, Scott and Benjamin.
