He is survived by: his sisters, Diane Richer (Gerard) of Houston, Lu Ann Barbre (Allen) of Burr and Gay Lynn Cerny (Richard) of El Campo; his nieces, Nicole Alvarez (Adam), Natalie Tabares (Jesse), Stephanie Martinez (Paul) and Emily Davis (Shane); his nephew Eric Cerny (Rachel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trace Alvarez, Nadia Tabares, Adan Alvarez, Adrian Alvarez, Abigail Sanchez, Alaina Alvarez, Benjamin Cordova, Kataleya Martinez and Tate Cerny; and his cousin Skipper (Robert Smith). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
