She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Samora and Luisa Longoria Samora; her daughter Crystal Pena; and her siblings, Erminda Cordero, Johnny Samora, Sr. and Gregory Samora.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Pena Sr. of Wharton; her children, April Pena (Dylan Mason) of Wharton and Roy Pena Jr. (Laura Samora) of Wharton; her sisters, Isabell Cordero of Deer Park, Lupe Samora Sedillo (Manuel Sedillo Sr.) of Wharton and Mary Louise Garza Balles (Ruben Balles Sr.) of Wharton; her siblings-in-law, Elma Samora of Wharton and Adolph Cordero Sr. of Wharton; her grandchildren, Damian Pena, Dadrian Jasso, Dacameron Jasso, Sariah Jasso and Drayden Mason; and her great grandchild Talia Pena. She is also survived by mother with her children and later worked as a caregiver.
