He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Tolar and Julia Sledd Tolar; and his sister Linda Tolar. He is survived by: his children, Garrett Tolar (Gwen) of Arkansas and Grace Tolar (Burleson); and his siblings, Nancy Maples (Stephen) of Glen Flora, David Cook (Cindy) of Atlanta, GA, Tom Cook (Judi) and Steven Cook of Fort Worth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (205 W West St, El Campo, TX 77437). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Michael may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or First Christian Church.
