It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin George Baca of Wharton, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Baca and Mary Baca (Chudej); his wife Dorothy Jane Piwetz; his children, Robert Allan, Gloria (Mike Leveridge), George, Ed (Valerie), Diana Brast, Linda (Kevin Rosenberg) and Martina Baca; his grandchildren, Autumn Leveridge, Wynne Leveridge, Julie, Chris Johnson, Melissa, Blake Bennett, Brandi, Kevin Behney, Mary, Adam Searle, Matt, Chris Baca, Erin Rosenberg, Brian and Chloe Rosenberg; and his great grandchildren, Claire Leveridge, Hailey, Nathan, Sophia, Lucas Johnson, Miles, Elizabeth, Aubrey Bennett and Jackson Searle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or Texas Alzheimer's Association.
