She is survived by: her mother Soila Ballejo Alameda of Wharton; and her siblings, Brian Alameda (Laura) of Wharton, Stephen Alameda of Wharton and Melanie Bardales (Jorge) of Houston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
