She is survived by: her siblings, Guadalupe Mata of Wharton, Dolores Mata Flores (Javier) of Houston, Jesse Mata (Helen) of Richmond and Joe L. Mata (Dora) of Houston; and her brother-in-law Olifidio Esquivel Sr. of Wharton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
