She was predeceased by: her father Eugenio Cruz; her spouse Gumesindo Gaona; her children, Alfredo and Carolina; her grandson Nick Perez; and her siblings, Armando Frank, Eugenio, Jr., Nasario Cruz and Julia Salcido.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Helen Robles (Victor) of Victoria, Irma Gaona of Rosenberg, Alicia Gaona of Wharton, Patricia Gaona (Charles Emmons) of Needville, Pedro Gaona (Iliana) of Victoria, Rick Gaona (Elvira) of Laredo, Ruben Gaona (Irma) of Wharton, Oscar Gaona of Port Lavaca and Jimmy Gaona of Wharton; and her siblings, Mary Ellen, Betty Cortez, Oralia Cruz, Fernando Cruz, Rbert Cruz and Joe Cruz. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren.
