He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Melnar and Veronica Kutach Melnar; his wife Marie Mariner; and his siblings, Theresa Tuttle, Joe Fred Melnar and Patrick Valentine Melnar.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Gann (David Frank Gann) of Wharton and Garland Melnar (April) of Whaton; his grandchildren, Heather Marie Nuspliger, Kyle Marcus Clark (Kayla) and Holly Michelle Longoria (Henry, Jr.); and his great grandchildren, Lane Nuspliger, Joseph Rayce Saha, Bailey Clark, Grayson Clark, Jayden Lipinski, Jaycee Longoria and Wyatt Longoria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
