She is survived by: her husband Guadalupe Mata of Wharton; her sons, Victor Mata (Dominga) of Wharton and Brian Mata; her grandchildren, Laura Granadoz, Alahna Delgado and Angel Delgado; and her sisters, Sarah Cortez, Virginia Villareal, Esther Zavala, Isabel Mata and Betty Zavala.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Wharton Funeral Home (515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX 77488). A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
