She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Peikert and Leona Lewis Peikert; and her siblings, Bennie'Ben'Peikert, Dennis Peikert, Kenneth Peikert, James Jr. and Esther Peikert.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Giesie; her children, Amos, Boots, Patches, Brenda Krenek (Robert Krenek Jr) of Wharton, Carla Jesseph of New Braunfels and Logan Giesie of Santa Ana, CA.; her grandchildren, Brittany Krenek, Lauren Krenek and Kayla Buffington (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Madison Brod, Weston Hauff, Ella Buffington, Lola Buffington, Lakyn Freese and Hudson Freese; and her siblings, Gordon Peikert (Margie), Allan Peikert (Martha Lynn) and Loretta Johnson.
