As Jovita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jovita. Though Jovita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Manuel Gonzalez and Eufracia Salinas Gonzalez; and her husband Jesse Cardenas. She is survived by: her children, Consuelo Ramirez (Jose) of Stafford, TX, Maria A. Gonzales (Jose R.) of Stafford, Emma Merlos (Jesse) of Stafford and Jesse Gonzalez of Alabama; and her brother Margarito Montes of Rio Grande. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
