He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Janik of Katy, Veronica Barger (Jimmy) of East Bernard, Joseph Kubena, Jr. of Wharton, Suzanne Oates (Todd) of Pflugerville and Kenneth Kubena (Sarah) of Cypress; his sister Viola Borak; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Laird, Lindsey Pickering, Christine Hogan, Chad Barger, Jessica Petrosky, Matthew Kubena, Kyle Kubena, Ashley Talasek, Michael Oates and Cameron "C. J.". He is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
